Bishop Donald M. Crooms, Sr. planted Faith Tabernacle of Praise (FTOP) in 1981. We are now 1 church in 2 locations (Beaufort & Raleigh, NC)! He is also the founder of Tabernacle of Praise International Ministries (TOPIM), which is a fellowship of independent churches. Bishop Crooms is a passionate, faith inspiring leader and author who carries out ministry with his wife Dr. Tia Crooms, a passionate  marriage & family therapist and Women Ministry Leader. Bishop Crooms has 6 sons, the youngest Elliott with his wife Tia.

Pastor Arik Taylor serves as Associate pastor of FTOP helping to establish the church as a staple in the local community. Minister Chiquita Taylor ministers powerfully alongside her husband filling whatever role is necessary. Together they have 3 children (one on the way), Jozeph and Kira Taylor.

Minister Craig Morrisey is the Minister of Music at FTOP. He is passionate about not only leading worship but teaching others the art of worship. He is an author and spouse of Minister Crystal Morrisey. Minister Crystal Morrisey serves alongside her husband as a member of the music ministry and Director of Media.

Elder LeAndro Crooms & Eldress Anna Crooms are the son and daughter-in law of Bishop Crooms. Elder LeAndro has followed in his father's spiritual giftings of leadership, preaching, and prophetic ministry through the years. He is currently a warrant officer in the US Military while helping to lead FTOP ministries and TOPIM. His wife, Anna, is dynamic preacher and prophetic voice  in the region and also serves as a teacher in Jacksonville, NC school system.
